Parish Justice Connections

The parish has a strong connection with The Justice and Peace Unit and The Unit on the Environment in the Diocese. The parish is presently focusing on the need for affordable housing for low income folks in Canada, for the homeless, those facing special needs housing and those in inadequate family or single housing. The parish has been contributing to a letter-writing campaign in the Diocese as well as other social action regarding housing needs. Housing does solve Homelessness!

Environmental Stewardship

The parish has an organic gardener for our parish garden. There is attention to recycling and energy use. The parish continues to advocate politically for attention to environmental stewardship in Canada. The parish is part of the Diocescan "Greening of Parishes Program".
